Christmas Morning in St. Louis
Santa stopped by to see us the week before Christmas because we had plans to be in Indiana over the holiday. We wanted Will to have a few days to enjoy his new toys before we jumped in the car and left town.

Oliver, Our Elf on the Shelf
Believe it or not, Santa has already made his rounds here in St. Louis. Due to our upcoming trip to southern Indiana over the holiday, we made a special request that Santa visit us just over a week before Christmas. We had to make the same request last year in St. Louis and the two years before that when we were living in D.C. Luckily Santa is very accommodating, and Will was thrilled to rush downstairs Sunday morning to find his presents under the tree (I'll put up some photos soon).
However, we have a bit of sad news: we had to say goodbye to our funny little elf, Oliver. I'm sure you're aware that the elves travel back to the North Pole with Santa after the big guy delivers the goods. Our little elf on the shelf (who, by the way, NEVER chose to just sit around on a shelf) is going to be missed.
P.S. Will is really into telling jokes right now. One afternoon shortly after Oliver started showing up, I heard Will tell Oliver to ask Santa to deliver a joke book for Christmas. Oliver took the request into his own hands and delivered a joke every morning. You can't always see the jokes in the photos because Will got to them pretty quickly, but here is the link that Oliver used to print his jokes. Thanks to the gals from the Over The Big Moon blog for the free printables.

A Few Phtotos from Thanksgiving Weekend
The boys and I were in Southern Indiana over Thanksgiving weekend and we celebrated with both sides of our family; however, I didn't take ANY photos at either gathering. :( I've really been slacking.
I did manage to take some photos from our trip to the Louisville area to visit some of Nathaniel's cousins from the Vermont clan. Here are just a few.
Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
